It evenings like these... which makes life worthwhile!
A nice dinner with Archu (I so like to address him that way), discussing mundane things, bitching about work, sharing secrets, and soaking in my city... the whole week's pressure & stress is unwound! Life seems better this evening

Little excitements
I am travelling to a client site, and have logged on to the internet via a data card in the car - and I am totally kicked about it coz this is the first time I am doing so. And I am so excited that I wanted to put this up somewhere - but I thought it would be too juvenile to post on it on FB, so decided to blog abou it :)

Looking forward to an exciting trip
Abu has drafted this itinerary so well, it makes me want to take this trip NOW!
Day 1
We leave on April 1st morn 5:30am. Drinks at mahad. Late Lunch at chiplun. Reach 6pm. Spend some time at the fish jetty feeding the fishes. Followed by gala food & drinks enjoyed with the breathtaking coastal view and sweet & soothing sounds of the waves
Day 2
Roam around the scenic konkan coast. We will be visiting the breathtaking beach of bhogwe and the proposed site for AP’s retirement home. lunch in the town of malvan (bamboo khanaval)…home to the incredible malvani cuisine. Proceed through a quaint ferry ride to the magnificent seafort of sindhudurg. Proceed to spend evening on the gorgeous tarkarli beach. End day post sunset and head back to hotel. Change and meet up at gazali bar and rest for some localfood and drinks
Day 3
For leisure. trip to goa via terecol creek. Enjoy the unique experience of loading your vehicles onto the ferry and cross the channel. On the other side we lunch at the legendry mango tree restaurant.. home to the “coming of age” experiences of many among us. Spend time at arambol baech and head back to vengurle for a trip up the light tower next to hotel for a breathtaking (literally) experience. Return to hotel to finish off the alcohol and the remaining aquatic life off the vengurle coast.
Day 4 (Sunday)
8am Breakfast and then leave with fond memories.

Its crazy how one game (especially one guy) binds this nation. Dhoni was being abused while he hit sixes and fours because he wasn’t given Sachin the strike to break his world record!

In our culture, we are always afraid of making a mistake
A mistake is always looked down upon. What defines a mistake is a totally different debate, but it could be a small thing like sending an email to the wrong person. And since making a mistake it a crime, everyone tries either not to accept the mistake or find ways of hiding it. And if a mistake comes to light, then the immediate reaction is to get defensive!
A few experiences in the past month but 2 noteworthy one’s in office: One in which – to not accept the mistake the person went on such a defensive note, that she used lines like, “Are you a CA? What kind of a CA are you, if you don’t know this… “ And this response was to a clarificatory email. The context of this a long one, and I am too bored to type it all out. In the other instance, like I mentioned earlier, since the email was not marked to me but to someone else – that email was never sent to me, but the person followed up with frantic calls – just to avoid resending the email…
